Empowering Rural South Sudan for a Resilient Future

Ago Rural Development Initiative (AGORDI) is a nonprofit organization based in South Sudan, committed to transforming rural communities through climate-smart agriculture, clean energy, inclusive development, and cultural preservation. Founded by renewable energy expert Malish Peter Agoawi, AGORDI responds to the urgent challenges facing smallholder farmers — from climate change and land degradation to energy poverty and gender inequality. We believe rural South Sudan holds the key to sustainable development. Through innovative programs and strategic partnerships, we help communities build resilience, create lasting livelihoods, and shape a future where every voice matters
